I'm not your average designer.

You could say I'm not your average designer.  I don't wear all black or hang out at trendy coffee shops but I've got an eye for design.

In college, I majored in illustration until I took a graphic design class and was hooked.  After college I interned at the Woodland Park Zoo as an illustrator and designer.  This encouraged me to start my own business.  I co-founded Edge Design Inc. in 1990 located in Seattle.  After years of designing web and print graphics, we merged with another company and grew to an e-commerce web company called Altrec.com.  I was in charge of all product photography and worked as the Art Director to a team of website designers.

In 2001 I became the Marketing Director for Myntz! breath mints designing confection packaging and developing national ad campaigns.  In 2004 I worked as the Creative Director for Dilettante Chocolates where I developed the Dilettante brand and designed all product packaging.  In 2006 Dilettante was acquired by another confection company which promoted me as the Creative Director of all ten of their brands.  Responsibilities included designing all sales tools, store graphics, product catalogs, packaging, and creating brand websites.

In 2009 I went out on my own as I did almost twenty years ago.  By now I have seen and done almost everything in design
